an original gift

This morning was the same as a typical Christmas morning in the Borne household. I received a new camera to take the place of the busted one and all was well in the world of the cajun one. We went over to Nanny Brenda's house to begin our newest tradition of playing with the children, and began opening presents. Nothing too exciting, you must be thinking. And then...I opened the most amazing gift anyone has ever given me! Eat your heart out chicks and get ready for our newest roommies!

Merry Christmas from my family (and soon to be ours) to YOURS!

I am so excited! What a fun addition to the chicks household. They will fit right in! We will have to find a place of honor for these amazing things!

- so glad you got a new camera, Cla!

Love you! Thanks for the post!

of course brookie asks an actual question.
who ever thought we would be represented with wax statues?
i am extremely honored and may Nanny Brenda be hailed forever as the founder of the Six Chicks wax museum.

In answer to Elsie's question (a/k/a Brookie) and in furtherance of Friend's (Jessica) true hidden desire to be a Cajun and all that it means, the newest contributions to Eagle Pass will never make it to the wax museum that Eagle (Sarah)believes Nanny Brenda has founded, nor will it be necessary for Vagabond (Haley) to find a place of honor for them.

You see, chicks, the best Christmas present Bear (Claire) ever got is made of alcohol. That's right, ladies, not even Nanny Brenda can deny her cajun culture. In order to uphold the reputation of Bear's Cajun Daddy, I can assure you that the baby chicks will never find their way out of cajun land.

I get the post, and the first five comments. I'll be honest, I got kinda lost on the sixth one... story of my life... or something.

d.o.-----apparently, it's an "apple thing". Ask Bear, although that "apple" was apparently a little to ripe for her, also.
